First Insurance Company Of Hawaii Donates $10,000 For Typhoon Haiyan Relief Efforts: Charitable Foundation and Employees Send Funds to American Red Cross
First Insurance Company of Hawaii (FICOH) employees opened their wallets to donate $4,385 for typhoon relief efforts in the Philippines. The FICOH Charitable Foundation added $5,615 for a total donation of $10,000 to the American Red Cross - Hawaii Chapter.

“Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the families of those who suffered in Typhoon Haiyan,” said Allen Uyeda, FICOH’s president and CEO. “Hawaii and its people have such close ties to the Philippines and our hearts are with those who have a long road to recovery. To date, First Insurance’s Charitable Foundation has donated more than $213,000 to Hawaii nonprofits in 2013 as part of its commitment to helping the community and those in need.
